Care is a cure to division.
In a world of hot takes and rage bait, the real vibe is empathy, kindness, and abundant care. Culture shifts when we recognize the acts of care all around us. The problem is, we often don't.
In April 2025, we surveyed 3,400 Americans. Nearly 1 in 4 didn't see themselves as givers or receivers of care.
But when we named what care can look like - the everyday moments such as holding doors, covering shifts, sharing meals, helping someone across the street, and even giving compliments - all without expecting anything back — they recognized the care instantly.
Not as something new, but as something we do. Something American. Something we've always done.
We're celebrating that. The everyday gestures that hold us together — flashing a smile, buying a stranger coffee, the microcare moments we give and receive throughout the day. We give without keeping score. We care without keeping count. And the more we do it, the more our collective strength and power grow.
